All of our products come standard with a 30day warranty period upon delivery. Merchandise can be returned within this period of time as long as the conditions below are met.
Prior to any assembly procedures, we strongly advise to test any models that are received to ensure they are ready to be built.
How do I return a product?
A return merchandise authorization (RMA) number is required to return any product. We are always more than happy to work with you in resolvingwarranty claims in a quick and fair manner. This may vary from replacement parts or returns to resolve an issue. Certain issues and/or exceptions are not always expected, but we are willing to work with you to resolve the problem. A product may be returned for several reasons depending on the situation such as a damaged or defective item or simply from a change of mind. Being honest about the reason will help us process your exchange, replacement, or refund in a quick and fair way.
You will receive the RMA number, instructions for sending your product back, and an address for the return via e-mail for your own records. For suspicions of possible product issues, we strongly advise to consult our technical support team for additional support.
What are the exceptions to hamlaza’s return policy?
Products that cannot be returned for a refund, exchange or replacement are listed below:
Merchandise with signs/indications of being previously assembled and disassembled.
Merchandise with signs/indications of being previously flown or heavily used.
Merchandise with signs/indications of being previously crashed or mistreated.
Merchandise with signs/indications of being previously altered or modified.
hamlazareserves the right to return merchandise back to the customer or applyrestocking fees if any claims or issues are found not to be true on returned productsdue to the exceptions listed above and/or if they show signs of damage by dust, dirt, water, sand, and/or other contaminants. We also reserve the right to refuse any box that is delivered to us that does not have a valid hamlaza issued RMA number written clearly on the outside shipping box.
Who pays original and return shipping?
If a return is required as a result from our mistake such as a wrong
item, we will pay the shipping charges -- both to have the item sent back to
us, and to send out the replacement.
If a return is required, not because of a resulting mistake from hamlaza (i.e., crash damages or defects resulting from user error), the customer is responsible for the shipping cost to send the merchandise back. If the item is under warranty and the issue was not caused by the customer, hamlaza will pay the replacement/exchange shipping.
In the case of an outright return for refund due to a change mind, we will refund the full purchase price of the product but won’t be responsible for the shipping charges to send back the merchandise. The original cost of shipping when the order was placed will also not be refunded.
Do we charge restocking fees?
Hardly ever. We can only accept merchandise that is returned without signs of use as listed above and with all of the original contents and packaging. Returns with any damage that was not present when you received your merchandise ?assembly damage, scratches, dents, etc., that was not described prior to the return will be subject to a restocking fee. Merchandise missing any of the original items, parts or accessories will also be subject to a restocking fee.
Items returned not in the condition that was described may be
subject to a minimum restocking fee of 15%of the purchase price or refusal of
the return. These conditions apply to all returns regardless of the reason for
the return. A restocking fee will be charged for any defective item that is
returned in damaged condition.
Please note that all items being returned may be subjected to a 15% restocking fee if any the following applies:
Merchandise returned due to achange of mind.
Merchandise returned due topackaging not intact/not in original packaging.
Merchandise returned not as described but unused.
Refused package returned to hamlaza because the order was not cancelled before it shipped.
Please note that all items being returned may be subjected to a 25% restocking fee if any the following applies:
Merchandise returned not as described but used.
Merchandise returned with signs/indications of it being assembled and dissembled.
se returned using manufacturer’s box as a shipping container.
Merchandise returned due to user error/negligence/lack of knowledge.
How long does it take to receive a refund?
Once we receive the return, it will be processed within 10business days. Afterwards a refund is applied and typically processed within 3-5business days (Monday through Friday). Processing time may vary depending on daily volume. When your return has been processed, we will send a confirmation to the email address on file with your original order or contact you via phone.
